2. Never Have I Ever (Season 2)

Never Have I Ever is back and how! Devi Vishwakumar’s journey continues as she tries to understand her mother’s decision to move to India, choose between two charming boys, and keep her head straight. Devi’s journey is fun and emotional to watch with all the teen drama, love triangles, and everyday high school things. The season also sheds light on queer representation and eating orders. The supporting characters all have significant character developments, and John McEnroe is back as the narrator!!!

3. My Amanda

My Amanda is an unconventional romantic comedy that starts with two best friends figuring out and exploring their relationship. It explores how platonic love is no less than romantic love and that it has got to have its unique place. Beautiful and heartfelt, you should give this movie a watch. 4. Fatherhood

Fatherhood is a comedy-drama film starring Kevin Hart. Hart’s character Matthew is recently widowed and is a single dad to his baby girl. Challenging as a single dad, Matthew never gives up and keeps trying to be the best father Maddy could’ve ever asked for. Otherwise known as a comedic genius, Hart delivers a moving, vulnerable performance that will bring tears to your eyes. A must-watch!

5. Wish Dragon

Fans of animated movies, this one is for you!! The film follows the life of Din, a student who has huge dreams but doesn’t have the means to fulfill them. He also wants to reconnect with his childhood friend Lina. Din encounters a wish-granting dragon and needs to decide what he truly wants when he can have anything. With heart-warming moments and thoughtful questions, this is an endearing watch.

6. Skater Girl

Skater girl is a movie that grounds and strengths the quote, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” The film follows the story of Prerna, a girl who can’t go to school due to poverty and has to face the patriarchal pressure of being a girl. Amidst all the chaos of her parents wanting to marry her off, she finds her freedom on a skateboard. As her passion grows, she fights against her conservative family, poverty, patriarchy, and social norms to fulfill her dreams. With stellar performances, Skater girl will stay in your heart forever!

7. Sweet Tooth

Sweet tooth is set in a post-apocalyptic world where human babies are born with half-human physical features and half-animal physical features. It follows the story of Gus, who is half-human and half-deer. Having this unconventional life, Gus tries to figure out how to live while getting help from a gruff protector. Sweet tooth is both a fairy-tale and a tale of humanity.

8. The Bold Type (Season 5)

This is not a new release, but it is one of the best shows I have ever watched. It follows three female friends and addresses many issues that come in as a free package with adulting. 9. Dogs (Season 2)

This is the comfort show of the decade! Because you know it’s got dogs! The series explores the beautiful bond between dogs and their human parents. So if you want to feel all warm and mushy inside, this is a show for you.

10. Alias Grace

Based on the true story of Grace Marks, a housemaid is imprisoned in 1843 for the murder of her employer Thomas Kinnear that she has no memory of. A decade later, Dr. Simon Jordan tries to help Grace recall her past. So get those comfy blankets out and TADUM!
