OnePlus 9 series is reportedly to arrive in two models of OnePlus 9e and OnePlus 9 Pro. The high-end 9 Pro is believed to feature the Hasselblad cameras. The company has revealed the back panel design of the phone that matches the previous leak. There is a Hasselblad branding on its rectangular rear camera setup. Commenting on the partnership with Hasselblad, OnePlus confirms that the duo will work together for the next three years to manufacture next-gen camera systems for upcoming OnePlus smartphones. The company has also allocated a budget of 150 million USD for the development of enhanced mobile photography capabilities. It will set up four new R&D centers in Japan and the US. The technology will enable the OnePlus device to provide natural-looking colors in photos. There will also be a Hasselblad Pro mode that claims to offer more control for post-editing and fine-tuning the pictures. Both the new partners will work together in developing new camera features including ultra-wide click with 140° Field-of-View, free-form lens, and T-lens technology for fast focusing from the front camera. The latter feature will be used in the OnePlus 9 series. The phone could also feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display, 5G, 65W fast charging, and Android 11 based OxygenOS. The specs will be more clear with the official release.
